Thank you for your support and encouragement

Dear Friends, As Salaam Alaikum (Peace be unto you)

I wanted to write to you and let you know how much your presence and participation at CAIR-PA's first annual banquet meant to us on the Board of CAIR-PA. From everyone on the Board, please accept my sincerest thanks for your attendance and your words and wishes of encouragement for CAIR-PA's important work on enhancing understanding of Islam, encouraging dialogue, protecting civil liberties, empowering American Muslims, and building coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.

The evening for me was filled with the realization of how important it is to celebrate our achievements with you. And share our challenges with you; challenges that I ask you to face with patience and perseverance and overcome together with our friends, supporters and allies.

I want to again take the opportunity to thank CAIR-PA's supporters from Jewish Voices for Peace, Philadelphia Interfaith Walk for Peace and Reconciliation, the Shalom Center, Mishkan Shalom, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Foundation for Islamic Education, the Islamic Society of Chester County, the United Muslim Movement mosque, Islamic Society of Greater Valley Forge, Islamic Society of Delaware Valley, North Penn Mosque, Islamic Circle of North America, Muslim American Society, the ADC, Playgrounds for Palestine, CAIR-FL and CAIR-National.

Let's take the excitement from yesterday evening's celebrations and together reach greater heights in our quest to promote justice and mutual understanding.
